Our Gifted Night was on 3/15/2018 from 3:45 to 5:00 PM. We were overwhelmed with the amount of support we received from all the parents that joined us. Students from 8th grade gifted classroom got us started with a short play. Parents then went into classrooms where the Gifted teachers in Grades 1 to 6 had planned wonderful activities in literacy as well as STEM for parents and students to participate in. Thankfully, we had lots of volunteers from the 7th and 8th grade gifted classrooms to help us!

Hello Clinton Families,
On Wednesday, 1/24, the Chicago Board of Education approved the calendar for the 2018-2019 School Year. Having the calendar well in advance will help our educators plan their lessons, and will help us make sure that the resources we provide to our students, educators and families are delivered seamlessly.
This calendar contains a wealth of information. It highlights all of next school year’s important dates, including paid holidays, winter and spring breaks, and professional development days. You’ll see that our student attendance days – 178 – are evenly distributed across four academic quarters, and that we’ve allocated two days for parent-teacher conferences. We also provided 10 days of professional development to support continuous teacher development, and ensure effective planning throughout the school year.
Here are some of the important dates for the next school year:
