The Clinton Community Today

Clinton community remains vibrant with a diverse population that would make the founders of our country proud. The neighborhood evolves, grows, and yet, remains a welcoming home to immigrants and refugees. Clinton Elementary School has over 1200 students enrolled today. As a testament to the diversity of the neighborhood, our student population speaks 45 different languages!

Today, Clinton Elementary School is a Level 1+ rated school, the highest possible rating  possible per Chicago Public School's  School Quality Rating Policy (SQRP). Clinton is led by Principal Maureen Delgado. Mrs. Delgado has served Clinton Elementary as a teacher since 1999, as an Assistant Principal since 2004, and as a Principal since 2016. The admin team is also composed of two Assistant Principal's, Mr. Chor Ng and Mr. Virag Nanavati. The students are supported by a dedicated staff of 66 teachers and support staff of 26 who go above and beyond to bring success to all students. Together, we work with parents and the community to ensure that our students receive the best education and prepared for a bright future.
